Welcome To My Photography Blog!

profile

My name is Sharon Mallin and I am a natural light portrait and on-location photographer based in the Blue Mountains, NSW. I specialise in maternity, newborn, babies, children and family portraiture. I live at Faulconbridge (in the gorgeous Blue Mountains). I am happily married and have two beautiful children ~ a very active handsome little boy and a precious little girl.

One of my favourite photography quotes is by Sandra Edwards, and is one that I draw great inspiration from:“A photograph is not only a reflection of people. It is a reflection of compassion, love and memories of good times”.

I hope you enjoy my photography blog! Feel free to leave me a comment so that I know you stopped by.

The Dacey Family {Blue Mountains Photographer}

November 21, 2009

This morning I met this gorgeous family at what is fast becoming my favourite park. These two little girls were simply gorgeous.We got plenty of giggles playing ‘peek-a-boo’ behind the tree, and I also had the privilege of meeting ‘monkey’ – the 5th member of the family!

Justin & Michelle – it was lovely to meet you. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Miss Jessica’s Cake Smash {Blue Mountains Photographer}

November 20, 2009

I should start by apologising for the amount of photographs I am about to blog.

My little girl is turning 2 next Sunday, and so did a cake smash with her this morning. She recently hurt her big toe, and so is very tentative with it, and insisted on having shoes on.

She was enjoying eating the cake, but wasn’t ‘smashing’ it so to speak. So with her eager Daddy and big brother waiting in the wings – it turned into a bit of a family cake smash session!

I love the way Jessie holds up her two finges up when we ask her how old she will be on her birthday … love you darling xo

Little Miss 2 … Nearly! {Blue Mountains Photographer}

November 19, 2009

I love taking photographs of everyday things. This is my Jessie – she will turn 2 next Sunday – she is growing up so much and soooo very fast! This is one of her favourite things to do – draw!

I am planning to do a cake smash session with her tomorrow – so that will be lots of fun I hope.
